Are you ready for network slicing and the launch of standalone 5G networks?

Stockholm, Sweden, 20 January 2020 – With anticipation mounting before Mobile World Congress 2020, Polystar’s team is preparing to reveal a host of new innovations, designed to ensure the success of new network and service investments. These innovations extend Polystar’s deep commitment to enabling CSPs to deliver outstanding service performance and enhanced customer experience, backed by new automation and workflow integration to drive down costs.

2020 brings the first commercial 5G standalone networks, supported by network slicing and edge computing. This demands an entirely new approach to service assurance, backed by distributed systems and the ability to monitor and secure insights from multiple parallel slices. Polystar’s KALIX and OSIX platforms are ready, with support for new 5G SA interfaces, as well as network slicing. They are optimised for edge computing and the most demanding new services.

And, with ever-surging video and gaming traffic, the new video analytics option for KALIX provides a comprehensive yet flexible means to obtain relevant, meaningful insights into video and gaming consumption, even for encrypted traffic. These insights help CSPs deliver an outstanding experience to their customers, ensuring effective monetisation of video and gaming offers and consistent performance for streaming content.

Alongside migration to full 5G, another major transformation is underway – from the NOC to the SOC. At MWC 2020, Polystar will be showcasing the new KALIX SOC solution. This provides CSPs with capabilities that enable them to transform legacy network operations centres into next-generation service operations centres. KALIX SOC delivers an instantaneous, real-time views of service delivery and the resulting customer experience.

At MWC, Polystar will be joined by key technology partners, including both Elisa Automate, as well as Emblasoft. The team will demonstrate how KALIX can be powered by Elisa Automate, enabling the automation of traditional NOC tasks, such as fault correction and ticket generation, with a complete zero-touch, closed-loop process. Meanwhile, Emblasoft will be showcasing Solver, a comprehensive, powerful stress and feature testing solution that spans 5G, LTE and legacy network interfaces.

Meet the Polystar team in Hall 6, 6G31 to experience the ease with which network and service insights can be delivered across all generations of mobile technology.

Join Polystar to find out how to assure your investments and deliver new levels of customer and service experience.
