Polystar T&M’s increases the capabilities of its load and stress testing system SOLVER to meet customer expectations and to follow 3G network evolution.

The 4.1 release, which is already available, brings major improvements like the new interfaces but also support for AMR-WB on Iu-CS.

The SOLVER Iu-CS over IP contains a standards compliant SIGTRAN protocol stack on the control plane and IP/UDP/RTP on the user plane. It is backward compatible with the appreciated TrFO and PESQ features that already is available for SOLVER.

SOLVER ISUP is based on SDH and produces simulated phone calls into the Core Network at the SS7 interface towards PSTN and enables the testing organisation to provide a thorough load testing scenario using the same range of test systems.

The new SOLVER interfaces are managed using the same familiar GUI as before.
