Protocol Analyser

With the Protocol Analyser application you can monitor protocol messages in real-time or historically. The application includes five different types of filters, which can be used separately or in combination.

In Protocol Analyser you can also colour code messages relating to the same calling process for easier detection.

Business Value

Detailed information

By double-clicking the rows in the Main Window, the Message Viewer dialogue box opens up, giving you access to all the parameters contained in the protocol messages. This functionality enables you to get a good overview of all the messages in the Main Window, and to view more detailed information.

Colour coding

In the Protocol Analyser application you can select to colour code all messages relating to the same call/transaction in the same colour.

Multiple windows

You can have up to four sessions each of the Main Window running in real-time, or historically, concurrently. You can also use different filter settings in each window.

Adaptable interface

In each window you can decide exactly which parameters you are interested in, with which representation you want the data to be presented, and in what order you want the data to be presented. You can also choose to differentiate rows with a light grey colour, select to use a larger/smaller text size, and make lots of other adjustments.

Key usage areas

Customer care

By offering in-depth trouble-shooting, you will solve various customer problems both in real-time and historically.

Quality of service

With advanced filter functions you may detect and prevent mass calls both in terms of large numbers of call attempts to one destination as well as calls which are looping around in the network.

Quality of service

The filters also enable you to detect reasons for low ASR, which the Performance Analyser application may have shown.
