Handover is performed when the user equipment (UE) is moving among cells in a network.  The handover is done in order to achieve the best signal strength and signal quality possible at any given time or place. Solver LTE can simulate intra-system handover.

Supported handovers

• Intra eNodeB – intra- and inter-frequency handover
  - Scenario with no optional X2 interface between the simulated eNodeB´s
  - Scenario with X2 interface between the simulated eNodeB´s
  
  

• Intra-system handover between several simulated eNodeB´s
