Solver Lite

Solver Lite has the identical look, feel, features and functions of the regular Solver version, but in an efficient and practical portable format. With Solver Lite, it is possible to simulate a couple of hundred calls—perfect for quick and easy on-site testing.

At present, the system is available for SIP, AoIP and Iu-CS Sigtran. We expect to release more versions shortly. Solver Lite has the same short set-up and ease-of-use as Solver. It comes with features as:

  • Control Plane testing
  • Control Plane/User Plane testing

The system format options are laptop or rack mountable. With the rack-mountable option, it is possible to increase the performance with just software upgrades.

SMS

With Solver Lite, it is possible to do SMS generation and termination with user definable message content.

PESQ

Perceptual Evaluation of Speech Quality (according to the ITU-T specification P.862) is based on modelling of the human perception.

MSC in Pool

The MiP functionality is primarily used for load balancing over MSCs or load redistribution, for example remove load from one MSC during maintenance.

Handover

Solver Lite can simulate 3G to 3G handover scenarios.
