SOLVER release 4.7.1
Polystar T&M is proud to announce the latest release, 4.7.1.
Some of the key features in this release are;
SOLVER LITE
• Portable Solver that contains the same IP interface features and functions as a regular Solver but with lower capacity.
AIF
• NAT system 2 ports (2 STM1's). It is now possible to extend the previous one port solution with a second fiber port. The capacity will not increase but it is possible to connect to different MSC/MSS. If the optional feature MiP/Multipoint is active, test-cases can be extended to provide load sharing and fail-over functionality.
AIF over IP
• Possibility to simulate Packet Loss (“Negative Testing”).
Negative testing is used to simulate erroneous packet loss. It can be used to test the ability to detect and recover from loss of single packets or to test the ability to recover from loss of chunks of packets.
• ICM, Initial Codec Mode. Possibility to choose an AMR rate when initiating the calls.
SIP
• Solver SIP, G.711. Support for 10 ms Packetization.
All IP interface SOLVERs
• RTP Multiplexing to improve the bandwidth utilization.
SIP-I
• ISUP using SIP as bearer. Optional feature to Solver SIP.
Automated testing
• Through CLI, Solver is used for automated testing. The CLI has been further expanded with functions such as handover statistics.
