SOLVER now ready for test automation

In trials together with major telecom manufacturers,  SOLVER has been operated through a Command Line Interface (CLI) which was made available by a telnet interface. The trials were successful and the feature so welcomed that the decision was made to include it in a proper release (4.5.1). Using a script or control system when setting up and running traffic greatly enhances the customers' flexibility in the use of SOLVER.

"For some time, our customers have tested the unreleased version and provided some very useful comments on how they wished to control SOLVER from a CLI. We have listened to their requests and are happy to say that we have managed to implement many of their requests and suggestions. The work to continue to make SOLVER even more useful and flexible from a user perspective is imperative for us", says Hans Edman, CTO at Polystar T&M.

If you want to know more about the benefits from using the Command Line Interface, please do not hesitate to contact us.
