SOLVER to support 3G Mobility over IuCS

Stockholm, July 2008.

In the new 4.5.1 release (2008-06-30) there is now support for 2G-2G handover.

Mr Niklas Thorin, Polystar T&M CEO:

"The 3G handover has turned out to be a success among customers, and we decided to add 2G handover in order to meet customer demands. At the same time we implemented the possibility to set customer-defined amounts of handovers per single calls. Sometimes you want a certain amount of handovers in a call in order to see that a mobile can move multiple times—and that demand gets fulfilled in the new release. As always, it is a full User Plane Handover with the possibility to hear the actual voice that is sent. In the easy-to-use GUI you can actually see where the mobiles are, and also follow how they move from one RNC/BSC to another."

This is the Handover window where you decide in which order the Mobile shall transfer to different RNC. You will see current location as well as getting statistics on successful and failed Handovers.
