In December 2006, T-Mobile Austria and Polystar OSIX signed a multi-million Euro contract and order for delivery installation and commissioning of the OSIX signalling monitoring system. The OSIX system monitors the complete circuit switched network of T-Mobile Austria on GSM and UMTS standards. By using the OSIX system, T-Mobile Austria can quickly detect any network problem in real-time and swift actions can be taken to increase the service availability and subscriber satisfaction. The system also generates data records to four external systems including the Interconnect billing platform.
"After thorough investigation of the major vendors of signaling monitoring systems, we concluded that Polystar OSIX offers a superior system with the most modern architecture and intelligent applications. The OSIX system is fast, reliable and it is very easy to use. For us, it would be impossible to reach the same level of service without the OSIX system and we therefore highly recommend it", says Mr. Christoph Riegler, Officer Network Quality Measurements at T-Mobile Austria.
"This contract strengthens our already strong position as vendor to the Deutsche Telekom group. With the addition of T-Mobile Austria, Polystar OSIX has eight customers in the group in Europe and the USA, which makes us the largest supplier of signaling monitoring systems to Deutsche Telekom worldwide" says Mr. Fredrik Alverius, Business Region Director and Key Account Manager at Polystar OSIX.
"It gives us great pleasure to again be chosen as supplier and we will continue our successful partnership and business relations with T-Mobile", Mr. Alverius continues.
