Sending value added information to subscribers can create incremental revenues and retained customer loyalty for the carrier. Polystar OSIX's sGate application automatically detects when your subscribers are visiting other networks and when subscribers enter your network. To both categories you are able to send; - SMS Bon-Voyage messages to subscribers when they are roaming into other networks. Those messages could include information about local services that are available in the visited network.
- SMS-Welcome messages to subscribers roaming in to your network and inform about locl services which are available to them when they are using your network, e.g. short number to Taxi.
- Marketing Campaigns targeted to particular group of subscribers e.g. pre-paid users. Those campaigns can be used in combination with a Bon-voyage/SMS welcome message or be a separated activity.
The application is very cost effective and can be used to promote new services through the existing infrastructure our the solution can be used as a stand alone marketing tool. The mechanism to distribute messages can be based on IMSIs or MSISDNs which typically is received from the carriers backoffice system.
