Jupiter

Jupiter is a process and analysis tool that along with MediaProbe provides the ultimate network monitoring solution. This solution provides never before seen 'bits and bytes' data analysis and includes many sophisticated and detailed reports, which are presented to the user by means of a number of revolutionary visualisation mechanisms.

Visualisation
Both translucent 3D and sophisticated 4D technologies have been adopted as parts of the User Interface Presentation layer within Jupiter. A number of useful functions and standard reports are built into the GUI (Graphical User Interface) to enable the user to easily create their own reports. Many KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) can be selected and defined within the system GUI, with all aspects of control and presentation being no more than a simple mouse click or 'drag-and-drop' away.

Various calculation and aggregation methods can be applied by the same means in up to 10 simultaneous display windows. Traditional area, pie, and bar graphs are of course available as visualisation methods, whilst heat map technology provides Jupiter with class-leading visualisation techniques until now only seen in the financial industry. Heat mapping provides increased efficiency, and 'search and find' techniques applied within the product are between three and ten times faster than traditional methods of analysis.

Key feature examples – Handset analysis
Handset analysis is one of the key features within Jupiter, and used to ensure that your network operates in harmony with its services and network elements. A network is a finely tuned apparatus with many variables. When a number of these services and network elements become one (to function as your network), issues, bugs and problems can arise and in some instances (when a particular handset does not work with a network service for example) customer experience can be affected if this issue is not flagged or picked up early enough by the network operations team.

Due to traffic volumes, most networks today aggregate fault and network operation data prior to processing and presentation, and as a result only the more severe issues and problems are discovered, and consequently resolved. However, performance issues that are not discovered until the customer complains can have a serious impact on customer experience, your network’s perceived reliability and ultimately, customer churn/retention.

Jupiter gives the user a simple diagnostics layer that can display aggregated data in such a manner, even the smallest issue affecting the least number of customers can be seen and drilled down to. 'Simple and Swift' was the design criteria our developers had, and that is exactly what they have delivered to our users through a state-of-the-art GUI and management interface.

Proactive customer management
Many proactive and well-planned features have been included into Jupiter to ensure maximised customer experience and retention ability. One such addition is the ability to interface with call centres and provide 'queue jumping' as a result of usage.

Jupiter has thresholds for usage held and set at predetermined points within its database. For example, a good customer may be one who makes 100 plus calls nationally per month and 25 plus internationally. When a customer in this category calls the call centre from his cell phone, this data could be accessed from Jupiter and allow his call to jump 'less important' customers in the queue, and as a result, keep him happy. This is only one example application of this feature. For more information, including the full feature set, contact your account manager today.

Jupiter is a next generation customer retention solution that your company simply cannot do without.
