Polystar solutions provide real-time visibility of operators' network quality and their customers' experience as well as easy-to-use load and stress testing of core mobile networks.

Polystar will showcase these major additions at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona; The suite of products in the form of Crystallizer – a state-of-the-art 4D visualisation tool, and SMSassure, a tool to assist in the fight and prevention of SMS network abuse. In addition, it will highlight a new powerful Data Retention suite that complies with European Union (EU) Directive 2006/24/EC along with SOLVER – a high-performance load and stress test tool for PSTN, 2G, 2.5G and 3G telecommunications networks.

SMSassure is a product that monitors all SMS traffic passing in and out of an operators' network. With a sophisticated set of rules and algorithms, SMSassure is able to present the analyst with any potential network abuse and with the addition of a third party add on, is able to proactively block hazardous traffic. Profitability (SMS Messaging) is increased for any operator installing this product, as a result of a marked reduction in losses due to fraud and unsolicited SPAM.

The Polystar Data Retention suite has been designed specifically for operators to meet the European Union (EU) Directive 2006/24/EC. Traditional switch based solutions can be extremely costly. Next is the additional load that is placed on these switches, the most important being the ability to detect and store unbilled calls (both partial and incomplete).

Crystallizer is a product that addresses the growing demand for rapid and simultaneous analysis of large amounts of complex data and management of real-time information. In short, Crystallizer visualisation can be described as a jigsaw puzzle, where each rectangle represents one data item. Where traditional diagrams can display one or sometimes two variables at a time, Crystallizer always displays three.

SOLVER makes it possible to generate and terminate calls with or without actual payloads, configure the network, test network indicators and provide real-time statistics of call traffic progress.
