Moscow, Russia, June 20, 2007

"Multiregional Transit Telecom", a national operator of domestic long-distance and international communication in Russian Federation, announces the successful implementation of the signalling network monitoring and analysis system, supplied by the Swedish company "Polystar OSIX".

The Monitoring System is aimed to capture, process and store the SS7 network performance data and enables control of the network quality from the network and service perspective.

MTT  has implemented several Polystar applications, such as qGate and OSIX Monitoring, which enable tracing of the key performance indicators, supervision of the suspicious calls on the entire network, monitoring of the network status in real time, detection and isolation of the network failures and generation of the statistical reports on the network performance quality.

The implementation of the new signalling network monitoring and analysis system will allow MTT to make the next step in the continuous improvement of the quality of service provided to its customers.

MTT provides carriers with the "Access to SS7 network" services, consisting in routing of signalling roaming messages into the Russian national networks and transit of the signalling traffic to different countries. While providing this service, MTT performs connection to the SS7 networks, traffic processing and routing. This allows signalling interconnection with each Russian and foreign mobile network in 149 countries all over the world, as well as with Russian and foreign public networks.
